... to allow for Marathon Vacations. LOL! That's what life feels like right now.
I had a wonderful time in Washington. I worked 24 hours in the 2 days prior to leaving for that trip. I got home from the store around 11pm and was on the road to the airport by 5:10am the next morning. Those of you that know me well know I didn't pack until I got home from work Tuesday night, which meant I got a grand total of 1.5 hours of sleep that night. [Sleep is over-rated.

We landed about 1:08am EST in Detroit on Tuesday the 3rd. I spent much of the day resting and welcomed my step-sister, BIL, and nephew to our neighborhood around 9pm that night. They moved back to the States [from Germany] a month ago. Wednesday we all celebrated the 4th of July at my brother's house. Thursday I got up early, went to the doctor, and headed to work after that. Yesterday and today I worked 12 hours.

I work tomorrow, and Tuesday, and Wednesday too ... Wednesday is Justine's birthday and that night after work we are planning on heading out of town for a night or two. We haven't been on a vacation as a family yet this year. [I think ...]
