  • Harry Potter Madness

When it comes to the Harry Potter mania, I am the "odd man out".  I have never cracked open a book or sat through one minute of the movies.  EVER.    I truly have no desire too either, no matter how many people profess to their greatness.  I really am just not a fiction girl.   Or a reader.   I'll stick to non-fiction.   And reading if I "have to".

That last sentence is kind of humorous though, considering the hours upon hours I spend on the internet.   Doing what?  R.E.A.D.I.N.G.  LOL!  It's different though, really.  Don't ask me how or why.  I suppose it's that reading online is more interactive?  The stories come with pictures and more about the personality behind them.  Depending on the type of reading I am doing, I can also respond and share my views.  That's always a bonus.  So, strangely, I will read here.  But rarely the pages of a book.

So is that sensible to you or non-sense?

My husband is the same way.  I don't see him pick up a book very often, usually when/if he's going on a plane ride somewhere.  Me, I read books all.the.time.  On everything.  Yeah, I'm one of those in the Harry Potter madness.  I laid on my float today reading the first hundred or so pages.  I do read a lot of books on Bible stuff, prophecy and the like.  I guess I've just always been a reader.

While I read plenty of books, I'm the same as you when it comes to Harry Potter. I have absolutely NO interest whatsoever in the books or the movies.
