  • What Kind Of Friend Are You?

You Are a Good Friend Because You're Supportive
You are almost like a life coach for your best friends.
You give them help when they need it... but you also know when to give them a push.

People tend to rely on you for moral support and advice.
You've probably always been mature for your age, so this is a role that's you're comfortable with.

A friend like you is one of the rarest kinds.
You are both a good mentor and companion.

Your friends need you most when: They are confused or worried

You really can't be friends with: Someone who only wants to complain

Your friendship quote: "The only way to have a friend is to be one."

  • Do You Lock Your Keys In Your Car?

I take the keyless entry on my truck for granted.  I cannot imagine locking myself out of my vehicle.  If I ever accidentally lock the keys in my truck it's really not an issue for me.    However, when we get Jeremy a car that's likely not to be the case.   Although I am certain he'd love a fairly new car, our budget simply cannot accommodate that desire.  Because of this, I fully expect the call one day that he's locked himself out of his car.  I think we've all done that at least once, right?   If he calls me, I'll be placing a call to a locksmith.   If he calls Jeff, well, I bet Jeff will attempt to help him and end up calling a locksmith too.

What? You're asking about AAA?  We have never been Triple A kind of people.  Any other type of roadside service we can take care of on our own; even towing.  That is one of the benefits of having a cousin that owns a salvage yard, I suppose.

It is funny all of the different things I have started to think about since Jeremy started preparing to get his license.  The more I think about what might happen and what we'll do about it the better prepared he will be when that time actually comes.

I need to find out if the locksmith I love to deal with offers 24 hour, 7 day a week service like this Miami Locksmith!  It's inevitable that the time we need someone will not be during normal business hours.  Heh.  That's just life.  One of the other great things Miami Locksmiths.com has it a 15 minute guaranteed response time.   Prompt service is always a good thing!   In addition to emergency assistance for lockouts, most locksmiths offer alarm systems, key cutting services, and other home security needs.

So, next time you lock your keys in your car what are you going to do?  Do you know who you will call?

  • The Truth About Feelings

Being the psychology freak that I am, I consider myself pretty knowledgeable and adept when it comes to understanding people and their emotions.  I know that no matter what the intentions are of ones actions, the feelings they generate in others are something the "actor" cannot control.  Feelings are personal.  Feelings are something that are shaped by the experiences and environment of the person experiencing them.  Feelings are never wrong.  When there is an emotional reaction to something that is unexpected it takes time, communication, and true open mindedness to over come and change the once natural reaction or feelings to certain things.

People don't become who they are overnight, and you cannot undo bad habits or remove triggers to certain emotional reactions overnight.  Attempting to force someone to change simply will not work.

Do not tell me how I feel.  Do not tell me how I should feel.  Let me be who I am.  I will never be who you want me to be; as I can only be myself.

  • By The Way

Just so you know ... I have a few things going on that have cut into my time online.  I worked 50 hours last week [not complaining;  it was just temporary so no big deal].  I have also started eliminating some of my time online an actually going to bed a bit earlier.  Amazing, isn't it?

Yeah, I'm still up until 12am or 1am; but not every night.  I am slipping into a good sleep/wake schedule for me now that I have changed jobs.  The awesome thing is it just feels right! YAY.
